Day-Wise Itinerary

DAY 1
London - York

Start your journey early in the morning from London, heading north to the historic city of York. DAY 2
York - North Yorkshire Moors - Whitby

Today, embark on a scenic journey to the North Yorkshire Moors, a region renowned for its breathtaking landscapes of rolling heather moorland and charming villages. Your first adventure is a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, a heritage steam train that offers a nostalgic trip through this stunning area. Relax and take in the views as the train chugs through valleys and across moors. Arriving in Whitby, a picturesque coastal town famous for its maritime heritage and as the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula, you’ll have the afternoon to explore. Climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey for spectacular views of the town and coast. Wander through the narrow streets, visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, or enjoy the fresh sea air on Whitby’s sandy beach. Stroll through the charming coastal town and enjoy time shopping for unique souvenirs, visiting local galleries, or exploring the lovely harbour.

DAY 3
York - Cambridge - London

After breakfast, head south towards Cambridge, a city famous for its prestigious university and historic charm. On arrival, spend some free time exploring the beautiful colleges and their immaculate grounds. Stroll through the historic streets, visit the Fitzwilliam Museum, or discover the stunning architecture of King’s College Chapel for a quintessential Cambridge experience, go punting on the River Cam. Glide along the water and enjoy views of the university’s famous “Backs,” a series of gardens and greens that line the river. Alternatively, you might explore the lively market square or enjoy a relaxing walk along the riverbank. In the late afternoon, begin your journey back to London, reflecting on the diverse landscapes and rich history you have encountered over the past three days. Your tour concludes as you arrive in London, where you bid farewell to your group.
